IPL SYSTEM WITH RF FUNCTION

IPL(Intense Pulsed Light), is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high intensity pulses of visible light for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.
The focused, broad-spectrum light is applied to the surface of the skin by way of a smooth, transparent handpiece. The intense light travels through the tissue of the skin until it strikes the hair shafts or the bulb (root) of the hair. The bulb is usually where the highest concentration of melanin is located, as opposed to the rest of the hair shaft. The light is converted to heat energy. The bulb and most of the hair shaft are instantly vaporized. The intense heat radiated by the hair also destroys the hair-producing papilla or the entire hair follicle.
Besides, IPL technology is also employed in the treatment of medical disorders of the skin including sun damage induced dyspigmentation and vascular changes; poikiloderma of Civatte; acne Rosacea; broken capillaries/telangiectases; vascular and pigmented birth marks. Cut-off filters in the handpiece change the wavelength range allowing it to be optimized for different applications and skin types. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them. The body's natural processes then remove the injured tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance.

IPL+RF use Bi-polar Radio Frequency and IPL energies. RF produces heat when the tissue’s electrical resistance converts the current electricity to thermal energy deeper within the dermis by the difference of skin impedance, so as to control RF absorbed by specific targeted area. The deeper thermal energy stimulates production of new collagen and re-arranges collagen tissue. The subsequent heat further tightens the tissue and reduces wrinkles. The RF penetrates max 4mm depth in skin, but IPL selectively absorbs definite wavelength light by targeted area and penetrates max 2.5mm depth in skin.
